This song was written while contemplating why we, as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints struggle with the question, “what can I offer the Lord and his children, and do so without fear?” I felt especially concerned about the youth. Do they know how needed they are, and how much they have to give? This simple song will hopefully encourage and remind all mankind that they simply need to heed the call, to Rise up! and serve the Lord.
