While working on a relief society craft making wooden ornaments that each had a different name used for our Savior, I realized that my children my not know the many names He was known as. I wanted them to have a way to remember just a few of them, and while talking about this with my daughter, she said “just tell me the story mom.” That then inspired “He is My King!”

The primary children in our ward seemed to really enjoy singing this simple song, and even preformed it several times including the ward Christmas party, and sacrament meeting. I truly feel the Lord had a hand in the composing of this song. I hope you enjoy it and that it brings a spirit of love from our Savior, Redeemer, and King.
