Our ward music chair wanted something new for a special musical number in Sacrament meeting. I had trouble finding 4 singers who could harmonize well so I wrote this for piano and two (2) voices. Just a simple duet where I employ the use of an augmented and a diminished chord in the chorus to help drive the meaning of the words, “Jesus is my Lord”. The song sounds like a song the primary children would sing. We performed this for the first time on 8/Feb/2026 with two adult men. I think it worked out rather well.
