I put these songs together to sounds like a prayer — like someone opening up saying “O My Father… Abide With Me.” It’s like someone is saying “Please God, please stay with me. Times are dark and I don’t know what I’m doing, please stay with me.” I believe most of us have felt like that at one point in our lives, begging for God’s help, light, comfort, and love. This song is an expression of that plea for God’s presence.
