Isaiah 7:14 – “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” I initially wrote this arrangement for a group of friends to perform—hence the uncommon instrumentation. I’ve always loved how the song pairs a rich, dark melody with words of hope. Even with only instruments, the lyrics can still be felt, “Rejoice! Rejoice!”. All parts are at an intermediate level.
