When President Nelson encouraged wards and stakes to make 2020 a special time to commemorate the first vision, I contemplated writing something that would be appropriate to that counsel. The Covid restrictions that year almost eliminated any chance of doing anything meaningful. However, we decided as a bishopric to take the second Sunday in December near the time of Joseph’s birthday and dedicate it to the mission of Joseph Smith and hold Christmas music off for one week.
