A lively Christmas piano duet featuring three traditional carols: “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Pat-a-pan,” and “Brightest and Best” (also known as “Star in the East”). As opposed to a medley, which typically presents songs sequentially, in this “mash-up” you’ll hear the different melodies sometimes layered on top of each other and sometimes woven together in bits and pieces to create an exciting polyphonic tapestry. 6 pages for each part, or 13 pages for the combined score.
