This hymn was written for the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Cypress, California Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It may be accompanied by either piano or organ. The Cypress Stake has adopted it as their Stake Hymn and it continues to be sung at their semi-annual stake conferences. The text is based primarily on Alma 12:14 of the Book of Mormon. An arrangement for SATB choir with piano and flute or violin obligato can be found on this site in my library of works. There is also an arrangement for SATB choir with piano and flute or violin accompaniment.
